On May 16,1996 Atal ji took oath as the country's 10th Prime Minister. But this time he must resign due to less numbers. On 19th march 1998 he was re-sworn in as the Prime Minister of the Country. On 13th October 1999 Atal ji took oath as the Prime Minister for the third time and remained on the post till 2004.
