Cruelty to Animals

Animal Cruelty is real and happens in every corner of the world with different types of animals. It should be prevented. Problem is this there are not enough people to fight for animal rights.

What is Animal Cruelty:
Animal cruelty means gratuitously harming, killing or injuring any animal. It can be kicking, burning, stabbing or depriving an animal of food water and shelter. It is also known as animal abuse.
Many animals like rats, dogs, cats, rabbits and birds are killed in laboratories for using them as a purpose of experiments. Every year chemical, drugs, cosmetic testing are performed over them.
Besides that many animals are killed for gaining personal benefits such as Elephants are killed for their tusks (to make ornaments and sell them in market). Some people eat animals. There is a market in china where all kinds of animals are offered to eat. Dog is one of them.

Animal abuse for Monetary Gain:

  • Selling their body parts
  • Selling animal meat or by-product for making profit.
  • Use of animals in circuses.
  • Bull fighting.
Some people thinks that animals don't have emotions but it is not true, they do have. Those who have pets can attest this thing that animals can also feel emotions. They enjoy while playing their favorite toy, they become happy when any family member comes to home from outside. They feel sad when their loved one dies. They feel pain when they injure themselves.

Laws for animal abuse:

Many jurisdictions around the world have enacted which forbid cruelty to animals and these are vary from country to country. Many countries impose fine and has a provision to imprison for 541 to 3 years (Chile). In India Prevention of cruelty to Animal Act 1960 was amended in the year 1982.
According to newly amended Indian Animal Welfare Act 2011 cruelty to animals is an offence and is punishable with a fine of minimum Rupees ten thousand to twenty thousand or imprisonment of up to two years or both.

Conclusion:

Animals are also creatures of god who have sentiments. They also deserve our respect, love and protection. They are not harmful to humans unless they are threatened. We should stop buying animal products from the store. Go Vegan. Raise your voice to the cause. Share your views if you ever witnessed animal abuse.
Live and Let live

Thanks, Have a Wonderful Day... God Bless ♥♥♥
