Save Girl Child

Girl Child:

There was a time when girls are used to be locked in houses under purdah system and perform only household duties such as cooking and cleaning of house only. They were not allowed to study. The only purpose was that when a girl got young she was married to someone and spend her life as a home maker. But now the scenario is changed, girls are not considered less than boys. They are treated equally as boys in every field. Infect if a girl get a better guidance she can do miracles. We have many live examples who are doing well in their perspective fields whether it may be singing, acting, sports, science & technology etc.

Today the women are in fierce competition with the male population, specially in India. Girls are attaining tops in every department and proving gender imbalance wrong. International Day of the Girl Child will be celebrated on 11th October every year.
After looking at weak statistics  of the girls in the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi began the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme. This is a really powerful action project, which points to developing the health, safety, education of women and therefore the abolition of female feticide. Also, this scheme focusses on the private and professional development of women.

Importance of Girl Child:

Swami Vivekanand Ji stated that the nation where women are not respected, that country can never progress!
Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Yojna or Save Girl Child Mission commenced with Haryana state. To develop the condition of women, this efficient method was performed in 100 districts of the entire country. Due to the low female-male proportion, 12 districts of Haryana has been chosen, in which (Ambala, Kurukshetra, Rewari, Bhiwani, Sonipat, Jhajjar, Rohtak, Mahendragarh, Karnal, Yamunanagar, Panipat and Kaithal) were important districts.

On 14th January, the Haryana Government rejoices a program named 'Beti Ki Lohri' to change the condition of girls and give attention to them. The purpose of his scheme is to secure girls socially and economically self-governing to get their proper rights and higher education.
The count of the number of girls has been continuously decreasing for many years in India, which can cause huge problems. It will result in a reduction in the development of the human race. Advanced diagnostic in hospitals can determine the gender by the instrument, which has led to a considerable drop in the number of girl as a child is being killed inside the womb. This dangerous practice has come onto presence only because of gender bios in society.

Actions Taken Under Beti Bachao Beti Padao Scheme:

Here are some of the important actions to be taken under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme:
  • Under this scheme, it is required to replace the conservative mindset against the daughters of the country in the social system.
  • Every girl should pursue education.
  • The difference should assure the durability of the village and the protection of the whole gender section process.
  • It is also necessary to ensure the literacy of girls in the house.
  • Our country is regarded as a land of mythological history and religion and kindness and love. But because the Indian has commenced advancement and developed new systems, there has been an enormous change within the mindset of the people. Due to this transition, there's an incredible outbreak thanks to the population.
  • People's mindset has grown so bad that they began to distinguish between sons and daughters. Girls are understood as material or stranger person but not as a daughter of own house. Such quite people are happy and celebrate the birth of a son once they are blessed a daughter, the entire home is in silence or grief. They even mourn for the birth of a girl child. Many cases are found in our country that the newly born girl child has been dumped in an unwanted and stranger place. Also, sometimes they need admitted to the orphanage, though their parents still exist on the world.
Therefore, the Govt of India should plan strict laws for the safety of women in order that nobody should plan to abuse girls and discriminate against them.

Importance of Girl Child:

To get the inspiration here are some of the greatest achievements made by women of India.
  • Pratibha Patil: First Indian Women President.
  • Anaadibai Gopalrao Joshi: First Indian female physician.
  • Roshni Sharma: First Indian women to ride a motorcycle.
  • Mithali Raj: First Indian women to score double 100 in test cricket.
  • Kalpana Chawla: First women of India to reach space.
  • Arunima Sinha: First Indian female amputee to climb Mountains Everest.

Why it is Important to Save a Girl Child?

In order to realize true women empowerment, it's important that we start with the girl children. this is often because girls of today are the ladies of tomorrow. The role of welfare organizations is critical here because it isn't possible for the govt to succeed in every nook and corner of the country. we should support organizations which work for the eradication of female infanticide and ladies empowerment.
Some yardsticks of girls empowerment are:
  • Helping women carve a positive self-image and increase their confidence level.
  • Enabling them to develop the power to think critically.
  • Ensuring that they need equal participation in deciding , whether it’s within the family or at the community level.
  • Providing economic independence to women.

Conclusion:

You can see from the above examples that today girls are surpassing in every field may it's science, technology, games, astronautics, adventure or politics. Daughters are equally treated as sons in our society. They should not be separated from their rights and independence. Girls are the pride of our nation. There should be an urgent need to change the poor mindset of people that girls are only for cooking food and for household works. Girls can perform better than boys in todays world, in each and every field whether it is sports, science & technology or cinema. Girls are no less than boys ,if they get the right chance and guidance to fulfill their dreams and nurture their skills and talent.

Thanks, Have a Great Day... God Bless ðŸ’–💖💖
