There are several factors that impact confidence. 

The factors which impact on your confidence may be internal as well as external factors. The internal factors are the traits and the genes with which you are born. The external factors includes how you are treated with others, the social pressure around your environment. The most important thing is what are the things that you can control over. You can control over the choices you make, the risk taking capacity and how you respond to the challenges that come in your path.

  • How one can boost his/her confidence level, it is totally depends on him. Firstly you have to create a scene of your project. Feel the success in your mind when you are beginning a difficult task. Get fully energized and positive.
  • Believe in yourself and and have faith in your abilities and talent. These beliefs matters a lot because they influence you how to react when you face any difficulties in your tasks. Sometimes we think at some points that nothing is going to work or we are just wasting our time on a particular task, this might results in giving up. So to avoid such thoughts you should stay firm on your decisions.
  • Always have a growth mindset and have thought like your abilities can improve much better. If you work with that approach then every challenge will be an opportunity to learn and grow.

Neuroscience supports the growth mindset. The more work you perform from your brain, the more it gets stronger. It grows with study and practice. The average people with growth mindset are more successful and face challenges in a better way.

Practice, get failed and practice again. At last you will get succeed in your task. It happens with everyone. Nobody succeeds in his/her first attempt. J.K Rowling a famous author of "Harry Potter" got rejected 12 times before she got her first break. Thomas Alva Edison got failed so many times before the inventing bulb. He face so many difficulties in his life. He began his career by selling candy, newspapers and vegetables on trains. He developed hearing problems when he was 12.

So keep trying in life to achieve your goals and respond the challenges in a better and constructive way. This is confidence.
